For years, we've wanted to gather people in Southern Italy... in the valley where our Founder's father was born... and now, we get to do just that. We can't wait to take you with us to one of the most magical places in the world!
Imagine opening the door to a civilization of the past...
B.A.C.A.S. is curating a long term sustainable cultural community of the inspired and the inspiring, of the curious and the eager, of creative minded artists, scientists, scholars, thinkers, writers, builders and adventurers to gather together in the Cilento region of Italy, also known as “L’Italia Interna.” This region is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Italy’s largest national Park, mountains, valleys, caves, grottos and the Cilento coastline - Amalfi’s yet undiscovered sister. It is here that we gather… to discover, explore, pause, share, reflect, refuel, create, grow... This is much more than a European getaway, it’s an immersion into the past, the present and the future. BACAS will host it's first gathering in the Summer of 2017.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: B.A.C.A.S. is thrilled to announce the newest member of our team, our Director of Innovation, Elisabeth Cardiello. Elisabeth has come on board with enthusiasm and ideas, as we move toward our first gathering this summer.
Elisabeth joins Founder and Director Pietro Costa, co-Founder and Literary Director (US) Denver Butson, Honorary Director (US) Edmund White, Honorary Director (Italy) Elio Pecora, Musical Director Marco Cappelli, and others soon to be announced in our exciting adventure.
More about our new team member: Elisabeth Cardiello is a two time TEDx speaker and lifelong New Yorker was likely the only six year old with her own business cards. With her first product on shelves as a teenager, it’s no surprise, that even though her post business school career took her to Wall Street, she was always an entrepreneur at heart. Since leaving the corporate world, she has been involved in a myriad of ventures and her ability to combine business and impact has been featured by Forbes, GQ, AMEX OPEN, NBC, TEDx, New York Live, the United Nations, NYC Media TV, WS Radio, Heritage Radio and many others. Her inspiring story is a first-hand account of how to elevate one's personal and professional life.
As Founder and Owner of Caffè Unimatic, Inc., a woman-owned coffee company with roots in Brooklyn and Italy, born of a family legacy and the surprise of a lifetime (watch "How a coffee pot changed my life" on TEDx), Elisabeth is changing the conversation at the breakfast table. Caffè Unimatic is the proud purveyor of the last original “Unimatic” coffee pots in the world that were conceived in Brooklyn and made in Italy in the 1960s. Her line of sustainable coffee is roasted in the Old Neapolitan style.
Elisabeth is also Co-Founder of Master Your Mission, an international leadership development program for women making an impact and serves as the co-leader of Infrastructure Group’s advisory board activities for transatlantic clients in her roles as both a member of the IGI board in NY and as Managing Director, IGI London.
Additionally, Elisabeth Co-Founded Legacy Out Loud an organization that gives young women the playbook for how to reverse engineer their careers and lives, and along the way instills an unshakable confidence through a curriculum based around mission, mindset and mentorship (watch "The most powerful question you've never considered" on TEDx).
Earning both her BA and MBA at Wagner College with highest academic distinction, Elisabeth also played on the Division I Women’s Soccer team and now is a guest professor and the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the school.
Elisabeth is famous for asking hard questions, Disney-character-like facial expressions, doing handstands in crazy places and urging people to linger just a little longer at the table together, over coffee.
